About the speech-language pathology background. Isabella is a licensed speech-language pathologist. Within her doula services, that training informs the education and support she offers around infant feeding, and it helps her recognize when a family should be referred to a specialist. Feeding support provided as part of a doula package is educational and supportive in nature, not a clinical evaluation or therapy.
